RSVglobal is a non-profit organization and a sister association of the German Schäferhundverein RSV2000. Our mission is to preserve the German and Belgian Shepherd breeds and their genetic heritage.
We are committed to promoting the worldwide breeding of healthy, capable working dogs.
Because there are many like-minded people around the world, we founded RSVglobal, an organization independent of the FCI, to support the interests of dog enthusiasts abroad. Our clubs can be found in many parts of the world, and we provide support to our international local groups whenever possible.
Our members have access to the RSV2000 infrastructure and can participate in all our events, including the RSV WM.
We offer seminars in tracking, obedience and protection work, helper workshops, judges' conferences, breeding lectures and much more.
Yes, where are we actually heading? The development within RSVglobal has been explosive in recent years. And the interest continues to grow. In his speech during the LCC-week 2026, the founder Dr. Helmut Raiser shares his view on what is happening and looks into the future together with us.

I had the honour of being invited to the CACIT Germany Conference 2026 to speak about RSV in general, and RSVglobal in particular. What we do within our organisation, and how we do it. What distinguishes us from other dog organisations, our philosophy, and
our strong mission to preserve a healthy and strong working dog.
I have designed the presentation as a personal journey – my experience of ten years as a member of RSV.
Kind regards,
Ida Johnsdotter

The Working Dog Definition
A working dog is a high-performance dog. Due to its drive and constitution, it can be trained and used by humans for various tasks. The working dog is a valuable asset in itself. Preserving it and its genetic resources is part of maintaining this cultural heritage.

We offer you our own examination system & seminars in tracking, obedience and protection work, helper workshops, judges' conferences and breeding lectures.
Check out our calender under Events.
A Sichtung or Körung is not a test. You can't fail. It's about getting an overview of a dog's mental and physical characteristics according to fixed guidelines worked out by RSV. Open for everyone with GSD/BSD.
Most clubs prefer RSV SchH, because the dog sportler don’t go to the FCI and WUSV WM anyway. They go to the RSV World Championship, which are held after the Schutzhund test.
We continuously arrange different events as sichtungen, körungen, exhibitions, trials, seminars, webinars, helper education and selection – and much more.
See calender for mor information.
